Mutineer Magazine’s 2nd Anniversary party

Monday, May 24th, 2010

The gang at Mutineer Magazine hosted their 2nd Anniversary party at the Falcon Hollywood last night and it was another epic event! There was a great group of wineries, breweries and distillers plus some tasty food and the whole event was broadcast live by the group at New Brew Thursday with Ashley Routson, the Beer Wench. Even the Dos Equis “most interesting man in the world” was there!

It was truly an awesome event with so many cool people there. We even managed an afterparty at Blue Palms Brewhouse and as usual, the fun continued late into the night. It was a good night!

Check out a recap and photos from the night here.

Belgian Beer dinner at Library Alehouse

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

Wow, what a night of beer and food! As part of American Craft Beer Week I had the pleasure of attending the Belgian beer dinner at the Library Alehouse hosted by Larry James from Wine Warehouse. Larry is the foremost authority on Belgian beers in the LA area and having made many trips to Belgium, he knows the land, the people, the beer and the food. He explained each course and the beer pairings and even talked about some of his trips. It was a fascinating evening complete with excellent food and brews. Check out some of the pics below.
